Our women's ministry is overseen by Pastor Elaine Millender with the help of Jane Cartledge, Rhonda Lloyd and Sandi Chin. Our desire is for the ladies to study God’s Word, to have fun, get to know each another, discover their spiritual gifts and to be encouraged to use those gifts and be active in the local church. We are called “Women of Virtue” and we want to be just that. Women of Virtue is a place to connect and belong. We want to encourage you to keep growing in your spiritual walk as well as for you to be able to encourage others. We believe that your heart will be strengthened and your life will be enriched by joining in on the various activities that we have to offer the women of ALFWOC.

We hold monthly Bible Studies lead by Pastor Rhonda Lloyd. Rhonda has the gift to bring you practical teaching that will inspire you and open the Word of God to you to help you live a victorious life.

Bible Studies

Our bi-monthly fellowship is organized by Jane Cartledge. Jane has a unique ability to create fun and exciting ways to come together as a church family. You will have the opportunity to make new friends. Each meeting is always filled with laughter and fun-filled activities.

Ladies Fellowship

Sandi Chin is in charge of women’s outreach and has a heart for community. She organizes various community outreaches throughout the year. Her desire is to see the Women of Virtue ministry make an impact on our community.

Outreach

We offer a wonderful opportunity for young women, ages 18 and older, to be mentored by more mature/experienced women through our program “Apples of Gold,” which is based on Titus 2:3-5. This is an 8-week program where we teach the practical application of the Word of God and how to use it in their everyday lives. We also share cooking skills, relational skills, homemaking skills as well as hospitality.
