History

God gave Pastor Larry the direction to establish a church in Tallahassee, FL in April of 1988. After making the necessary preparations, Abundant Life Fellowship held its first church service on January 1, 1989 in a store-front room of approximately 800 sq. ft. Six months later, the room next door was leased for office space.

By May of 1991, it became necessary to move into a larger facility and the church relocated to a leased complex with approx. 4,000 sq. ft.

In October of 1993, the church purchased and completely renovated an empty warehouse containing approx. 13,000 sq. ft. In 2003, we began the process to purchase our new building. We have now moved into our new location as of March 13th, 2005! Our new building is a 40,000 square foot complex located at 3881 North Monroe Street on the North side of Tallahasee.

Since its inception, we have been blessed with some of the greatest ministries on the forefront of what God is doing in the earth today. We have been honored to host such guest ministries as 4 Him, Bruce & Cindy Black, Mark Chironna, Eastman Curtis, Jessie Dixon, Phil Driscoll, Rick Godwin, The Imperials, Emma McDuffie, Keith Moore, Dr. Fuchsia Pickett, Peter Pretorious, Jerry Savelle, Karl Strader, Karen Wheaton and many others.

We firmly believe that we are called to Tallahassee, "...for such a time as this" (Esther 4:14) and look forward to fulfilling God's future purposes.
